    College Sweethearts Find Love Again After 60 Years Apart

    Finding true love can happen at any age. Peggy Marie Pence and Henry Freund, college sweethearts from Tennessee, first fell in love in the early 1950s as students at Southwestern at Memphis (now known as Rhodes College). But when Freund graduated, joined the Army, and moved away, Pence moved on with her life, graduating from Southwestern, marrying Howard Schuster, and having three children. Freund was stationed at Fort Bliss, in El Paso, Texas, where he got married and had three children, as well.

    Years later, Freund attended seminary and was ordained into the ministry. During a church meeting back in Tennessee, Freund heard that his former love had been widowed. He, too, had lost his spouse. Freund wrote to Schuster to express his sympathies for her loss. Ten years later, Schuster gave Freund her e-mail address, and the two began to communicate again.

    Freund said, “It didn’t take long for the spark that had survived for 60 years to burst into flames.” The couple married Sunday, May 13, in a ceremony at Canterbury Place Assisted Living. Regarding his long-lost love, Freund added, “It took 60 years, but Cupid’s arrow will finally find its mark.”

    THINGS TO REALLY NOT DO ON A FIRST DATE!!

    No lie, these things have happened! And why having dinner on a first date is a bad idea.

    1. Show up 6 months pregnant and not mention it beforehand.
    2. Show up with a small child.
    3. A man saying, “I was expecting someone a little younger”.
    4. A guy using a coupon to pay and flirting with the waitress.
    5. Women who only talked about herself.
    6. A guy who repeatedly broke wind.
    7. A women dressing decades younger than she really was
    8. Another who coughed without covering her mouth and repeatedly picked her teeth.
    9. Women who spent almost half the date taking about how much money her ex makes.
    10. A guy who  made a call on his cell phone during dinner, then, still talking, actually got up and stood in front of a mirror preening and admiring himself.

    HOT DATING TIP FOR MATURE WOMEN!

    He is just going into his cave for a bit!!! .  It’s just a man thing.  They are not punishing you—it is how their brains are wired when he is stressed out. This is why so many men like to play golf, go to the gym, go for a ride or flip channels. It helps them unwind.

    Don’t ask him repeatedly, “What’s wrong?” It will only add to his stress and he will be stressed out more. Find something interesting to do….call a girlfriend, etc. etc.

    You work thru your stress by talking things thru. He reacts to stress by working it out alone in his own mind until he is ready to talk about it. Then ask him gently if he wants to talk about it. If not fine, just say you are there for him if he needs you, give him a warm tender hug and give him his space.

    A frail 80-year-old Wisconsin woman spent a harrowing 90 minutes learning how to handle a Cessna plane and then land it after her husband, who had been piloting the plane, collapsed while at the controls.

    Helen Collins successfully landed the plane as it was running out of gas and an engine sputtering.

    She is expected to be released from the hospital today with minor injuries after her bumpy landing Monday night at Sturgeon Bay. Despite the miracle landing, Helen Collins’ husband John, 81, did not survive.

    Her son, Richard Collins, recounted the ordeal today, punctuated with tears of grief for his father and chuckles of relief for his mom.

    “I can’t even tell her how to run a computer, let alone land a plane,” Richard Collins, 55, told ABCNews.com. “It was a very trying time. I thought I was going to lose them both.”

    The back right corner of any room or home is the Feng Shui Love and Relationship corner, but your bedroom is the best place to start to improve your Feng Shui Love and Relationship energy.

    Examine your bedroom, especially the back right corner of your bedroom, right now and see what items are there – next to your bed, on your walls, in the corners. Is there a garbage pail there? Is that why your love life is in the garbage pail? Do you have a picture of your ex-love there? Is that why you can’t move on? Do you have a picture of your mom there? Something else that is not very romantic? Remove anything that doesn’t scream love and romance to you.
